Introduction I bought this game back in '94 because I thought it would be a great game. I was right! This game took me 80 hours total of game play to complete the first time around, so if you ever play this game, i have a fealing that you will be satisified. Graphics For an SNES game, the graphics are superb. It's the usual 2-d game so you can't expect the best. It has the 3-d environment when you are in the airship, or on the chocobo, though! 9/10
Music WOW. This game has awesome music. I bought the freakin soundtrack it was so good. I personally like video game battle themes the most, and FF3 has 5 or 6 of them. The music in RPGs help to set the mood. I have chosen to place the overworld music on the top of this page because its a nice slow, peaceful song that you actually start to like after a while. Almost every character has their own music. The soundtrack has more than 50 songs 10/10
Replay Most RPGs dont have good replay value, but I like this one. I'm on my 6th run through of the game so far. There are so many combinations of people you can have, you just want to go through the game again and again. Replay gets: 9/10
Gameplay This game has excellent gameplay. With somewhere around 70(?) different spells, 15(?) characters, appx. 270 items and all the many different special attacks, this game will keep you striving to make all the characters be the best they can be. 10/10
Story It's a Final Fantasy game! Their stories are always GRRRRRRR8!I give it : 9.5/10
Conclusion I liked this game very much. It is the most extensive RPG i've played so far (I haven't played one since). If you missed the chance to buy it back in '94 or '95 or so, then don't expect to find it for less than $60 unless a novice sells it. It's an excellent game.
